Adopt A Family For The Holidays

Food, clothing and other needs are greater than ever for those struggling to get by, according to Webster-Rock Hill Ministries Director Ed Johnson.
The community can help others in need by adopting families during the winter holidays, particularly at Thanksgiving and Christmas. The deadline for applying to the adopt-a-family programs is early November for Thanksgiving and early December for Christmas.
For information or to sign up for the programs, contact or stop by the Ministries at 111 E. Waymire Ave. in North Webster, 961-1941, websterrockhillministries@charter.net.
Recipients will pick up adopt-a-family donations Dec. 19, 9 a.m. to noon, at St. Mary Magdalen in Brentwood. The Ministries need volunteers to help on that day.
High school students are welcome and can earn service hours helping out that day, Johnson said.
